Currently, there are seven routes which have been earmarked in Heidelberg to create an awareness amongst the local people and tourists, who may visit the town of Heidelberg, to view the amazing diversity of birdlife which is to be found in and around the town. 

The first route, known as the Nature Garden Route will soon be made available to the public to visit. Watch this site for more details.

Several "HOTSPOTS" will also be made available to the public to visit in the near future. These "HOTSPOTS" will enable those who are not able to walk too far, to sit and view the birdlife at a seated area close to where certain bird species may be found which aren't seen anywhere on the other bird routes.
